Following
are the Proposed Projects of the WM for this year: Coaching
room-paint, shelving; Cooling tower torn down; Purchase new ice maker;
paint outside doors; get a 3 compartment sink; plant flower and shrubs;
build outside storage facility; 4 new tables and 32 chairs;
refrigerator; wall by steam table.
January
11th, 2000 Above proposed projects announced in Lodge.
January
25th, 2000 motion carried to allow $200 for the planting of
flowers in front of the Lodge. WB WW Strom reports on finding a
child to sponsor at the Masonic Home.
February
8th, 2000 letter received from the Masonic Home reference our
request to sponsor. They reported that Tabitha Lassiter, a 9 year
old, is in need of a co-sponsor. Her other sponsor is Lizella
Lodge #663 which is a small Lodge. Motion carried to spend $250
for the year to help provide birthday, Christmas and back to school for
her.
February
22nd, 2000 building committee reported that the cabinets are
almost complete and a 3 compartment sink has been donated. Motion
carried to donate $200 to the Red Sox Little League baseball team.
March
1st, 2000 called communication for the purpose of paying our last
sad tribute of respect to our deceased Brother James M. (Mac) Irvin.
Brother Irvin was interred at Fairview Memorial Gardens. Over 50
Masons in attendance.

14th, 2000 Official visit of DDGM WB Larry Ellenberg.
He brought greetings from the Grand Master and encouraged to Lodge to
participate in the GM programs.
The
OES donated to the Lodge $500 to use to help build the storeroom and
$600 to help purchase a new ice machine. Motion carried to allow
the building committee $2000 to enclose the old BBQ pit and finish the
cabinets. A motion carried to purchase a 500 lb Scotsman for $1710
if it will fit on the current ice bin and if not to purchase a 400 lb
Manatwa for $1820.
March
20th, 2000 called communication. It was reported that Bro.
Buster Bryant passed away today.
April
25th, 2000 the ice machine is installed.
May
9th, 2000 - this years scholarship winner is Ashley J. Adams.
Motion carried to purchase a new digital answering machine with 3
mailboxes and to remove voice mail from the phone. Flowers were
planted in front of the Lodge.
June
13th, 2000 it was reported that Brother Guynn Kuglar passed away
on June 12th. Letter received from Casey Vernon, the scholarship
recipient for 1999, just to let us know how she did her first year of
school.
September
12th, 2000 WB Larry Patton reported that we now have a child to
sponsor at the Masonic Home. Motion carried to sponsor Jimmy
Johnson. The WM announced that the Junior Steward has given up his
seat due to his work schedule. Brother Clark Colwell was appointed
to take the chair for the rest of the year. The Memorial
Association has requested that each Member Lodge donate $30 to purchase
a portable sound system for use at funerals. Motion carried.
November
28th, 2000 Brother Brian Chambers brought up purchasing 2001
magnetic calendars with the Lodge meetings circled. Cost for 250
calendars is $207. Motion carried. Motion carried to help a
family to purchase food and Christmas for her children in the amount of
$250. WB Neil Maddock was presented with a plaque for the 6th
District Lodge of the year.
December
12th, 2000 25 year pins were presented to Bro. Doug Brooks and WB
Robert Frazier. Motion carried to help two families with food and
Christmas for the children. This being the last communication of
